heaven sent
Plaster, Resin, Steel, Dimensions 210cm x 210cm x 300cm, Started 2015
I recognised an underlying theme threaded throughout the sculptures; a search for light in a darkening world. This has culminated in ‘Heaven Sent’ - a pivotal piece that answers a lost existence, responds to previous work and the most significant sculpture I have made to date.
Presently, half created I believe the sculpture holds the potential to be powerfully symbolic of hope. The interweaving of two additional life size figures will bring the sculpture to completion.
